ANGLE Angle (Piute) is a small agricultural and ranching community in Grass Valley. It is adjacent to U-62, fifteen miles north of Antimony and twenty miles south of Koosharem. Early names were Lower Grass Valley because it was situated in the valley, and Spring Creek because of its early location by Spring Creek. The name comes from the sharp right angle the road takes from the main highway into the community. John W. Van Cott |
