History of Brian Head, Utah

Brian Head is a dominant headland of the Markagunt Plateau east of Cedar City. There are two name origins: (1) It was named for a geologist named Brian who used it as a surrey point. (2) It was named for William Jennings Bryant a popular man at that time. Today Brian Head is a year-round recreation and residential site.
