History of Connor, Utah

Connor/Balfour/Hansen

Connor (Box Elder) is a railroad siding ghost town site ca. 14 miles west of Corinne and ca. 5 and one-half miles southwest of Penrose. This Union Pacific workers camp was first known as Balfour, then Hansen, after Rasmus Hansen and finally Connor, to honor Colonel Patrick E. Connor.
