Crescent (Duchesne) In 1905-6 several people attempted to settle this and several other sites in The *Crescent, a land area two to four miles north of Roosevelt.

THE *CRESCENT (Duchesne) is a landform several square miles in size, located four miles north of Roosevelt and east of U-121. Several temporary communities including Crescent, Cedarview, Basin, and others were established in this area. All failed and today it is an agricultural region with a few scattered homes and farms that may or may not have again picked up some of the old community names.
