CROYDON

Croydon (Morgan) is a small community at the junction of Lost Creek and the Weber River. A group, including the families of George Knight and James Walker, settled there in 1862. The community's first name was Lost Creek after the nearby creek on which the families settled. The name was changed to Croydon because the majority of settlers were from Croydon, England.
