HARLEY DOME

Harley Dome (Grand) is a small community on US-6, 50 (I-70) near the Colorado boarder. It was on the nearby sheep range that Harley Basker drilled a gas well. This was the beginning of what developed into the Harley Dome oil scandal that made national headlines during President Harding's term of office.
