KANARRAVILLE Kanarraville (Iron) is thirteen miles southwest of Cedar City near I-15. The settlement was named for Kanarra (Quanarrah), a Piede Indian and leader of a Piute band. The band often camped where the community is located. Kanarra was killed after being thrown from a horse fourteen miles south of Cedar City. John W. Van Cott |
