LAKE FORK RIVER

*Lake Fork River (Duchesne) originates in the central section of the Uinta Mountains near Mount Lovenia and drains into the Duchesne River. One report states that an early trapper named Lake provided the name origin. Another suggests it was the numerous lakes the river drains.
