Mammoth

Mammoth (Juab) is three miles south of Eureka in the Tintic Valley. The sellement received its name in 1870 following the discovery of rich ore in the nearby Mammoth mine. Another version suggests that someone cried "Boys, we've got a mammoth mine here."
