History of Welby, Utah

WELBY

Welby (Salt Lake) is located in West Jordan where the Old Bingham Highway intersects with S 4000 W and W 9000 S. It was named after A. E. Welby, general superintendant of the Rio Grande Western/Denver & Rio Grande Railroad. It was formerly called Garfield Junction.
