The White River (Carbon) originates 6mi (9.7km) northeast of Soldier Summit at the confluence of the Left Fork White River and the Right Fork White River. From this point the river flows south for just under a mile where it meets up with US-6. From here the White flows southeast for 1.83mi (2.95km) where it picks up another tributary, the Tabbyune Creek. The River continues to follow the highway south to Colton for 4.11mi (6.6144km) where it drains south into the Price River, Utah County.
